This Full Day workshop focuses on recognising and responding to the deteriorating paediatric patient and the escalation process.  The Point of Return workshop includes an online module to be completed pre-workshop, teamwork activities, simulation scenario and a facilitated group debrief.

NEORESUS FIRST RESPONSE (3 HR WORKSHOP)
NEORSESUS ADVANCED RESUSCITATION (6 HR WORKSHOP)

A specialised training program that has been designed to standardise the way in which newborn resuscitation is taught in Victoria and other areas of Australia. The NeoResus program comprises two skills based, teamwork focused training programs: First Response and Advanced Resuscitation. These face-to-face, multidisciplinary training programs are supported by online, evidence-based learning modules, which are completed by all program participants.

MANAGEMENT OF CLINICAL AGGRESSION (MOCA 1)

A comprehensive full-day training session designed for junior and senior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and security personnel from all departments involved in caring for children and their families.
The program features lectures, interactive workshops, and simulation-based exercises focused on de-escalating aggressive behaviour and managing behavioural emergencies in adolescent patients. Please

MANAGEMENT OF CLINICAL AGGRESSION 2&3 (MOCA 2&3)

A 1.5-hour simulation training session will be held to support clinical, administrative, and security staff in managing aggression and externalising behaviours in children and adolescents with autism and complex communication needs. The session will take place during nursing double staff time. 

This training builds upon the foundational concepts introduced in MOCA I. While prior participation in MOCA I is encouraged, it is not a requirement.

VORTEX AIRWAY COURSE

The Vortex Airway Course is aimed at senior medical staff in airway management.  This course covers vortex methodology, difficult airway plan and optimisation of each lifeline of vortex.
